One key analogy we focus on our guys understanding is that it’s okay to take your hat off. We often wear a labelled hat that we feel we have to live up to, whether that be “Best Boss”, “Best Dad”, “Best Employee” – these labels are expectations we hold ourselves to that can be a weight on our shoulders when we don’t feel we have the capabilities of performing at 110%. At Barefoot Raw, we take our hats off. Swap it for one that says “I’m Vulnerable” and are able to be just that. No brave face or the need to impress anyone. We show up for ourselves and share our hardships.
We heal out loud so that others don’t have to suffer in silence.
